THE BIBLE
"In the beginning was the Word; and the Word was with God; and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God." John 1:1-2
The Bible is the word of God. It is God Himself. As Christians, we are bound to read, understand, and spread the word of God. Not only Christians, God's words are meant for each one of his children.

A girl from a Hindu family was attending the retreat. Once she came to me and said that she had been earnestly reading the Bible for a few months. I asked her: "What difference does the Bible have from other books you've read?" After a moment, the girl replied: "When I read other books, their authors are away. When I read the Bible, I feel the presence of its author; its author is with me!"
