So tranquil you might think the town is far away. So striking you will not feel like leaving. And so creative you start thinking you have reached the Holy Land.

Just an indication of how you are captivated by the Mary Matha Cathedral and its premises, right inside the Thamarassery town and just metres away from the main junction.

On the left side of the church is a beautiful grotto of the Virgin.

On the right side, there is an outstanding pictorial representation of Palestine of Jesus' time, which portrays the different historical locations of the Holy Land.
