St George's Cathedral, Idukki is being constructed at Vazhathope, about 4 KM distant from the Bishop's House at Karimpan. It is on the Karimpan - Cheruthony road.
The Cathedral Church is located on a lovely hillock and is surrounded by a scenic background comprising vibrant vegetation and hilly lands.
With the main Cathedral Church under construction, the Holy Eucharist is celebrated in a temporary hall.
