Come Easter, and one can see a flurry of weddings on the days that follow!

Getting married is a dream come true for almost everyone. An idea that springs up at a very young age, it takes sometime before one decides who to marry and when to get married. And when you know that it is finally going to happen, it sure is a delight -- a joy that is the only one of its kind!

Marriage is that wonderful union with a special person -- the one God created specially for you! The person you will share the rest of your life with; someone you may not know until only a few days before being united.

When you get to know that special person, your joy knows no bounds. For, you get to know who it is you are going to share your life with; you find who is going to be your best friend, the only friend of that kind; you recognize that special one you will love more than anything else. You discover that unique person you will always reach out to. You get to know whose hands you will hold, whose voice you will love to hear, whose melodies you will listen to, and whose smile you will cherish. You have someone to open your heart to, a pal to share your joy with, and that companion who can lessen your sorrows. You find out that beloved friend you can walk beside, a loving one to build your hopes on, and that unique person to dream about. What's more, you get to know the only one person on earth you will give your life for!

It may have been a long time since you started the search. And it may not have been all that easy. But, when it is time to make that all-important decision, you do not waver a bit, nor are you irresolute even for a moment. All this because you know there is someone beside you -- Jesus. He makes everything really simple and fast, and unites you with that special person He had set apart long ago.

You will love your partner all the more when you know that it is Jesus Himself who selected him/her for you.

So, it is time for you to promise Jesus that you too will reward Him in a special way -- being in His company forever; by developing an everlasting love and friendship with Jesus, an intimate association that is as strong and unbreakable as the one between you two.
