Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram (DVK), Dharmaram College Campus, Bangalore offers PG Diploma Courses to the Religious and the Laity in the following subjects:
- Biblical Studies
- Theology
- Counselling Psychology
- Spiritual Theology
- Philosophy
- Canon Law
- Studies in Religions
- Thomas Christian Studies
Objectives of the programmes
- Make theological, philosophical, and religious studies easily accessible to the general public
- Impart these studies with a harmonious synthesis of the Indian, Eastern, and Western genius
- Disseminate knowledge to more people in a non-seminary context
- Promote mature Christian leadership among all the faithful through intellectual and faith formation
Programme details
- Open to all persons, especially Rev. Brothers and Sisters, catechism teachers, youth, employers, preachers, spiritual animators, lay ministers, professionals, etc.
- Eligibility: Degree from a recognized College/University
- Fee for any One Year Diploma Course including the course materials:
Rs 4800/- (for India); $400/- (for other countries) - Merit scholarships are available for deserving students
- Registration starts on July 3, 2007
- Course Material will be despatched from July 16, 2007
- 80% of the study can be undertaken through Online/Correspondence and 20% through contact classes and practical sessions
