Catholic Saints
The Little Flower is so popular with all of us that even children can speak a little about her saintly life. We can't help invoking St Sebastian's mediation in the time of disease and epidemic. When we loose a valuable, we pray St Anthony of Padua, the patron saint of lost items, to mediate for our cause.
All this, because we strongly believe that the saints adorn a close position with our Father in Heaven and will mediate in our favour.
This category namely 'Saints' features a brief profile of our favourite saints. Because the number of saints is huge, it will not be feasible to present every saint. Therefore, SyroMalabar.com plans to profile those saints who are familiar with us; those holy persons whose feasts we usually celebrate.
Besides saints, this category will also carry the profiles of those who are beatified (Blessed) and those who are venerable (Servant of God).
If you would like to write about a saint or blessed person, please send the write-up to: webspree@yahoo.com
