Youth Activities
Youth Activities bring joy and togetherness to youth members, needless to mention the delight every associated person can gain from these events. Most youth groups now-a-days conduct youth activities that include picnics, outing, outreach, social work, volunteer services, youth days, etc. These are opportunities for the members to enjoy themselves, visit new places, showcase their skills, participate in extra-curriculars, advocate noble causes, and express their love and support for underprivileged brothers and sisters.
Let's see a little about these various youth activities:
- Picnic: It needs no explanation! Usually spans less than a day, and involves sightseeing and games.
- Outing: A longer version of picnics, and is usually a full day. Normally, participants carry food and eat it in the open. An outing can comprise learning sessions, skits, and prayer in addition to games.
- Outreach: An outreach programme usually involves a visit by members to an orphanage, children's home, asylum, or old age home where they take part in games and prayer.
- Social work: Involves helping the underprivileged and the needy, by financial, medical, or educational means.
- Volunteer services: They include voluntary assistance in organizing functions and festivals, accomplishing tasks, and providing information and guidance.
- Youth days: A time for members to gather together and celebrate - with games, cultural activities, classes, and prayers.
